Dear partners, colleagues and friends, summer brings fresh energy, and at PLAYzone we've decided to refresh the way we communicate with you too. This is our new partner newsletter format — clearer, more inspiring, and focused on how our projects and partnerships create value for you and for the community. We'll keep you regularly updated with news, success stories and behind-the-scenes looks at esports. And because business is ultimately about people, we'll also throw in the occasional glimpse of life inside our team. Thanks for your trust — we're looking forward to your feedback on the new format.

Partners at the heart of Tipsport Conquest of Prague

Team Fnatic celebrates winning Tipsport Conquest of Prague 2025 at the Vodafone PLAYzone Arena

Tipsport Conquest of Prague, held in early June at the Vodafone PLAYzone Arena, caught the attention not just of fans but also of media like CNN Prima NEWS, Forbes and CzechCrunch. Our goal was to create an unforgettable experience for the community — and at the same time make sure our partners' brands felt like a natural part of it. They appeared in branding across the online streams and on the main stage, as well as in activations running throughout the Arena. That put their brands in front of more than 2,000 visitors on site and hundreds of thousands of online viewers. PLAYzone's vision is to keep building events that deliver value to fans while putting our partners' brands into the unique environment that only esports can offer.

Number of the month: 21,155

During the LAN finals, Tipsport Conquest of Prague hit a peak online viewership of 21,155 viewers in a single moment. That put it among the most-watched Counter-Strike 2 tournaments in the world that weekend.

Behind the scenes with Tučňák

Pavel Kristián, PLAYzone project manager, during preparations for the MČR gaming festival

Each month we'll take you behind the scenes of our projects. This time we'd like to introduce Pavel Kristián (better known as Tučňák — "Penguin"), who runs PLAYzone's biggest Counter-Strike projects. His mission is simple: keep fans, teams and you — our partners — happy. He tracks global trends and translates them into formats that push the Czech esports scene onto the world stage. Why Tučňák? Because he loves penguins — so much so that he once travelled all the way to the Arctic Circle to see them. Got questions? Connect with him on LinkedIn — he'd be happy to talk through how esports can work for your brand.

Caught our eye: Mongolia is alive with esports

Fans of the Mongolian Counter-Strike team gather in the main square in Ulaanbaatar

In Ulaanbaatar, thousands of fans filled the streets to watch a historic moment for team The MongolZ — the first time in their history they reached a Counter-Strike 2 Major final, the most prestigious tournament in the game. Esports brings communities together all around the world. Picture a similar atmosphere at Prague's Old Town Square — that's what we're working on together with you.

Thanks for reading this far. I hope this newsletter caught your interest and gave you a little inspiration. If you're looking for new ways to reach the gaming community, I'd be happy to talk through what we could do together. Get in touch any time.
