After 29 long months, SINNERS claim their first triumph in the Tipsport Czech National Championship in CS — and for the very first time they celebrate at the championship in Counter-Strike 2. In the Tipsport Cup Spring tournament, played in a double-elimination format, they went unbeaten and lifted the winner's trophy after a final battle with Dynamo Eclot. Their triumph was witnessed by a packed Vodafone PLAYzone Arena and thousands of fans on stream.

Drama down to the last penalty

Miroslav „Totik

We'll remember the latest edition of the Czech National Championship in FC 25 powered by Hyundai for a long time. The whole tournament delivered plenty of fantastic moments and culminated in incredible final drama. Gold from the Vodafone PLAYzone Arena goes to Miroslav „Totik" Tóth of Baník Ostrava, who beat the 16-year-old prodigy Zdeněk „Rocksorr" Havlát 5:4 on penalties in the final. And that's after he was still trailing by a goal a minute before the end of extra time. Thanks to his victory, Totik also becomes the eRepresentative of the Czech Republic, wins a Hyundai electric car for a week, a unique champions' ring, and the largest share of the tournament's prize pool, which this year reached CZK 150,000.

Welcome to Martin Doležel, our new Head of Marketing

Martin Doležel, who led PLAYzone marketing in 2025

Martin studied Security Studies at Charles University, but even during his studies the world of advertising and creativity was pulling him in. He started his career at Česká spořitelna as a marketing specialist. He then moved into the world of a global brand — he spent eight years at Samsung Electronics, during which he went through various marketing roles and was, for example, behind the launch of the Czech National Championship in mobile games. Before joining PLAYzone, he led the marketing communications team for the Czech Republic and Slovakia at Welcome to the Jungle. Now, as Head of Marketing, he'll be running all of our marketing activities — from communications and PR to the strategic development of our projects and our brand.

The talent league has its champions

Vodafone Talent League

To have plenty of top-tier players in Czechia, we need a broad base of talent. That's exactly why, last year, we teamed up with our partner Vodafone and launched the Vodafone Talent League. Thanks to this competition we're able to develop the amateur scene and scout future stars of world Counter-Strike. And now we know the new league champions. The title goes to the players of Team Brute, who handled the competition at the Vodafone PLAYzone Arena and lifted the champions' trophy.

Launching a new tournament system

PLAYzone tournament system

Our agency grew thanks to the player community, and it's also thanks to them that we can expand our projects and reach more and more people. We haven't forgotten the community, though, and that's why we've prepared a new system that will make tournaments more fun and more enjoyable. And for you, our partners, that means one thing. You have another way to reach the gaming community — for instance with a tournament that carries your brand's name.

Thanks for reading all the way to the end. I hope this newsletter caught your attention and gave you some inspiration. If you're looking for new ways to reach the gaming community, I'd be happy to discuss possibilities for working together. Drop me a line anytime.
