Do you know what the years 1648 and 2026 have in common? In both of them, the Swedes are besieging Prague. During the Thirty Years' War they briefly captured Prague Castle; this May they could conquer the Vodafone PLAYzone Arena. The Tipsport Conquest of Prague tournament has its four best teams ready — and half of the players represent the yellow-and-blue colours.
The Middle Ages aren't over
After last year's successful edition, the Tipsport Conquest of Prague tournament is back, taking fans into a medieval setting. Thanks to rapid advances in technology, this year's immersive experience will be much more powerful. And once again, you — our partners — will play an important role in it. We're preparing a programme that will naturally weave your brand into the whole environment and make it part of the entire knightly story.

Hide from the sun and play on the computer, or enjoy a summer full of sport? What would you choose — and what would your kids pick? At our summer day camps we combine both in healthy measure, and the sport activities are led by instructors from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University. So the kids are in expert hands the whole working week.
Off to a tournament with Robin
At PLAYzone, Robin makes sure the tournaments we organise together with you run smoothly and that both participants and viewers look back on them fondly. He also looks after selected online and offline campaigns, ensuring every activity matches the brand's communication goals in the gaming community. In his free time he likes to watch a series, head out into nature, or discover the world of food. He's specifically a fan of Thai cuisine — but if you're ever in Ostrava, he recommends the steakhouse Futrovna.
End of a legend
Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný has officially said farewell to his professional career. The most successful Counter-Strike player in Czech history left an indelible mark on the National Championship's record books too. Oskar was part of the very first tournament we ever ran. In 2011, his team eSuba finished fourth. A year later he was already champion, and step by step he fought his way to the world elite. His biggest global achievements came with mousesports — gold at ESL One New York 2018 and the StarLadder league title in the same year. His path then led back to the Czech Republic. And again it was the top step: this time, in SINNERS colours, he won the Vodafone CS:GO Czech Championship 2021 (today's Tipsport MČR CS). I'm glad we could be an important part of his story and I wish him every success in the next chapter of his life.
Thank you for reading all the way to the end. I hope this newsletter caught your attention and gave you some inspiration. If you're looking for new ways to reach the gaming community, I'd be happy to talk through possible collaboration. Reach out any time.
